o wow...i didn't realize you were so young....I thought you were already in high school...I just finished my first year in high school, and your fear is something we all go through.

no, I am 15, I'm supposed to be in high-school... its just that all my really good friends are in 7th grade so I will most likely not see them that much... I really am used to seeing those friends everyday, and they did help me not feel so alone, but now that I know that I will not be able to see them that often, it worries me on how I will feel an d what I'll do when summer and high-school comes...

Baby, try to view High School as a clean slate. Since some of your problems were in Middle School, you can disappear in the hugeness of the next school. And NoVa has some BIG schools! If you can, try to remind yourself that you are not the only one going through things like this.

well, I'm thinkin about switching to Edison... I could stay at hayfield, but they are more academic while Edison is more vocalized... and academic teachings bore(sp) the shit out of me... and so I'm more of a "hands on" type learner...

I believe that is called Kinetic (?). My boy is that way... Or he is just happy to look at the pics. I got him a castle (we are into Fantasy in me house) when he turned three, I was suppose to put it together for him, he got tired of waiting and looking at the directions (pics) he did it himself. And loved it. I may have to pry his Lego's out of his "cold dead hands"... I wish I could have sent my kids to Montessori (sp) School. They focus on YOUR way of learning... Not the mainstream... Hopefully I can someday help send my Grandkids so they too don't end up shafted by the system.

yea, my dad was looking for schools like that, but the only way that I would be able to attend is if they sent me there... I think that Nova is like that, but I'm not sure where that particular school is...

NoVa is a Community College. The phone book is full of Montessori Schools. There are SEVERAL in Northern Va. I knew people that went to them.. I probably could have benefitted from one, but we SO did not have the money.. not that I do now either, otherwise my kids would have went...
